Um, it’s scientific!

Who knew you could make delicious meat from plants? Somehow Impossible Foods have created a patty that looks, feels, cooks, and taste like a regular meat patty. Since their patty is plant-based, Impossible Foods has the bragging rights of creating the First-Ever Kosher Certified Cheeseburger.

Lighting was a mixture of natural light and strobe lighting. For the close-up image I used a fresnel light source so I could bring out the texture of the product. A large parabolic umbrella was used for the wider overhead image – to give me a larger softer light source that would wrap around the whole scene and give me diffused shadows.
